Welcome to the Egon Zehnder Social Media Playbook!
This Playbook is strategic document that sets out the policies, processes, and best practices for managing and using Egon Zehnder's social media platforms. Our goal is to ensure a consistent brand image, effective communication, and a professional social media presence across our channels.

We also set up a member-only brand account on the design platform Canva for our ready-to-use templates. Please use this Canva account to create our social media posts.
Best practice
We created a set of templates that aim to ensure a consistent look and feel across our global social media channels. You can find the complete set of templates in our Canva Brandhub.
Some general information to keep in mind
- Tagging - always try to tag the people that are in the picture
- Logo placement - our logo should always be placed in the corner of the picture
- Line spacing - 1.2
- Readability and accessibility of all posts is very important
- Picture layouts - we must not mirror/flip photos of real people e.g. colleagues

Quote Cards
- Aim to use high-resolution pictures as backgrounds
- If no high-resolution picture available - use one of our two colorful backgrounds
- Pay attention to the white frame and other design elements - they shall never cover the portrait picture
- Prioritize quote cards with 1 person
- For posts with 2 or more people - head proportions should be similar
Events
- Aim to use pictures of the event or behind-the-scenes shots - important: consent of the event participants necessary
- If not possible - use one of our provided templates
- Please use the "text only" event template, if you would like to feature 5 or more participants
Articles
- Try to post article with title, relevant insights and picture of author - see provided template for carousel option
- In case no insights provided - share article with thumbnail picture from Egon Zehnder website
Podcasts
- Use one of the provided templates - with quote or without
Special Requests
- e.g., data visualization, graphs or co-branded materials

Quote Cards
- aim to use high-res pictures as backgrounds
- if no high-res picture available - use one of our two colorful backgrounds provided (light and dark background - dark grey and white fonts)
- be careful with lines and elements, they should never cover the person's face
- prioritize quote cards with 1 person
- for posts with 2 or more people - head proportions should be equal
- for quote or title text: 1.2 line spacing


Events
- always try to post pictures of the event or behind-the-scenes shots (e.g. collage)
- if not possible - use one of our provided templates



Articles
- export as PDF to view as carousel on LinkedIn
- always try to post article with title, relevant insights and picture of author(s) - see provided template for carousel option
- in case no insights available, share article with thumbnail from EZ site
